Our 2nd Annual Founders’ Day Celebration has been rescheduled.
Your ticket remains valid and will automatically transfer to the new event date of Sat., March 21st.
We are incredibly grateful for your support and flexibility. While rescheduling is never our first choice, these situations happen more often than many realize — and we’re focused on keeping the momentum, positivity, and impact strong.
To ensure everyone feels supported and valued, we’re offering the following options to participants:
- OPTION 1 – Attend the new date (default option) – Your ticket will automatically transfer.
OPTION 2 – Gift your ticket – Share your ticket with a friend, colleague, or family member.
- OPTION 3 – Convert your ticket to a donation – Support our mission directly if you’re unable to attend.
What You Must Do:
Send an e-mail to capitalcitypearlsfoundation@gmail.com with one of the following options:
Keep My Ticket – I will attend the event as planned.
Gift My Ticket – I am unable to attend and would like to transfer my ticket to a guest (please share their name, email and phone number).
- Donate My Ticket – I am unable to attend and would like to donate my ticket to support the amazing mission and work of the Capital City Pearls Foundation.
Please email capitalcitypearlsfoundation@gmail.com no later than Monday, March 9th by 12 pm so we are afforded the opportunity to plan accordingly.
Message From the President
Happy New Year! As we step into 2026, I am filled with optimism for the journey ahead. This year, we are intentional about creating meaningful connections and growth within our SE & SW Washington, DC community.
A new partnership with Anacostia High School under our sorority’s Uplift Our Local Community initiative brings new opportunities and resources. The Ladies F.I.R.S.T. Girls Empowerment program provides mentorship and support to young women. A special thank you to the Anacostia Coordinating Council (ACC) for providing our chapter’s foundation with a grant to expand our outreach and programming. Much gratitude goes out to all of our partners for trusting us and collaborating on our mission to serve all mankind. Our prayer is that this new year brings renewed strength for our community and chapter members.
Let’s make 2026 our best year yet!
